Enjoy a classic cabin in the woods experience, complete with shady front porches, wood fired stoves, rocking chairs, and a cozy queen log bed. The inside is quaint and cozy and you can cook the basics with your in-room kitchenette or enjoy a book in the quiet reading loft. Twenty miles south of South Lake Tahoe, Sorensen's Resort is located along Highway 89 between Hope Valley and Alpine Village. In the winter you can cross country ski right from your cabin or drive up to the many ski resorts around Lake Tahoe. In the summer, there's fishing along the Carson River as well as many nearby hiking opportunities. There is an onsite cafe and gift shop that will appease most of your needs but the nearest restaurants, shops, and services can be found in South Lake Tahoe.
