"Beautiful"

Fantastic relaxing place with ALL the amenities! Unfortunately had to leave early, but cannot wait to book again with the whole family!

"Eclipses All Others!"

To say we were pleased with our stay at this rental during eclipse weekend would not do justice to the effort that Marisa and her team put into making their guests feel welcome and comfortable. It is obvious from the moment you enter the house that you are in the hands of someone who cares about what they do and will go the extra mile to make your visit special. The house is clean, well-appointed, and lives up to its listing description. We brought our two dogs and, even though we are dog lovers, we appreciate a home that doesn’t have an overwhelming look and smell of dogs and this property does not. (Not at all in our opinion). The neighborhood is relatively quiet, and the property is somewhat secluded (mainly at the back of the house). It is very relaxing and peaceful. It is a short drive to the town. The communication from Marisa and Brett was stellar from throughout the entire process. We really couldn’t have written a script for a better rental experience thanks to the care and thoughtfulness of Marisa and Team.

"Perfect Getaway"

I was really impressed with our stay. We enjoyed the calmness and serenity of the place. Everything was clean and anything you might need they have stocked. The host answered all of my questiones quickly and was available during our stay 24/7.

Beautiful place with over-the-top service. My fiancee, our Cavapoo, and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the 4-Paws getaway cottage. We greatly overpacked for our pup since there were dog bowls, toys, and plenty of areas to explore on the property to keep him occupied. The 1 time we reached out to Marissa for assistance she responded within 1 minute which is above and beyond. Great place for a getaway and many fun destinations within a 15-minute drive. You can’t go wrong picking this place for a stay in Brown County!

"Peaceful, Spacious and Thoughtful"

We have stayed in several VRBO rentals over the years and this one tops the list in terms of the managers thoughtfulness. While it doesn’t have huge walk in showers (nor does it claim to), it DOES have plenty of bath towels. It also had PLENTY of toilet paper. It was impeccably appointed as if you were entertaining family. Board games, phone chargers, sound machine by the beds, coffee, even spices in the kitchen. While these may all seem like little things, they can be uncommon when renting a place. We have been in newly built, very impressive and massive homes that don’t even have one bath towel for each of the bathrooms. Not to mention only a partial roll of toilet paper in each of the bathrooms. I feel like the way people do anything is the way they do everything. EVERYTHING here seems like these people care. We look forward to coming back. All this said, they do need to work on the exterior door deadbolt that leads to the hot tub. It has issues. Also the kitchen faucet needs attention, too.

We had an amazing stay, and will definitely look to stay here again for future trips! We've traveled quite a bit, and stayed a lot of places, and this was probably the best Airbnb we've ever stayed at!

The place was amazing (hot tub, fireplace up against the woods, very comfortable beds/pillows, roku TV & e-fireplace in each room, clean/ready grill, etc), and there were tons of small touches that were above & beyond (pamphlets with Brown county trails printed out, HOT CHOCOLATE BAR, stocked pantry/kitchen, touch lamps on each nightstand w/ USB outlets & charging cords, and more)! We were between a couple properties and REALLY happy we chose this one!

I will note, there are neighbors across the street, but the backyard is up against the woods & felt very private & peaceful (and there's a little trail in the back woods).

Anyway, A++ property & manager, we will definitely be back, and think there's a lot we took away from the house we want to implement in our own place XD

I am incredibly picky when it comes to spaces. especially if they are animal friendly because that sometimes means, not well tended. however, this property exceeded expectations. I am so grateful that we were able to stay here and look forward to coming back. truly immaculate and well decorated. thoughtful amenities. two days was not long enough!!!

We stayed the weekend for a Galentines celebration and it was PERFECT! We absolutely loved the hot tub and the home was so cozy. We brought a pup and he loved it as well. Very clean, so many amenities and extremely cozy. Thank you!!

Wow! This was such an amazing getaway spot. Not only was it beautiful, it had all the bells and whistles. From kitchen appliances, cookware, board games to extra blankets - everything you need is there. And the host provided so many extra treats - we felt very welcomed and cared for!! I hope to be back❤️

If you were looking for a secluded rural retreat, this is the place for you! The home is beautiful, clean, spacious, quiet. Great place to escape from the hustle and bustle of life to enjoy nature and recharge. One of my favorite activities was watching the snow fall from the large hot tub. Highly recommend staying at this location!

We have stayed at many places and by far this was over the top with amenities! Everything is clearly marked, kennels there if needed, hot tub was so relaxing, HOT CHOCOLATE BAR was fantastic and leaving Christmas cookies on our arrival just perfect. We will defiantly be looking to go back !

My wife and I enjoyed our weekend getaway to the 4Paws property. The location is 15 minutes from shopping, breweries and hiking in the Nashville/Brown County area. We enjoyed the thoughtful decor for the holidays, the hot chocolate station and the spacious/well equipped kitchen for preparing meals. The bedrooms were spacious and the bed was comfortable. The basement was a bonus with the pool table, gaming systems, and access to the back yard hot tub with overhead string lights for a peaceful ambience. The home is very organized and they truly thought of everything to make our stay as enjoyable, convenient and comfortable as possible.

The place was great. Very large amount of space and very clean. Would definitely recommend!

It was great!

We really enjoyed our stay. We had six adults able to share this place with plenty of room to spare. The house had so many amenities. We’ve booked through AirBnB a lot and hosts seem to always have the minimal towels, trash bags, TP, etc… Marisa’s had an abundance, it was a welcome change.

The house was very nice and we enjoyed the main floor, lower level play area, and the hot tub.

We will book here again.

We just got home after spending a few days here for fall break. We've stayed at a LOT of Airbnbs all over the country, and I can confidently say this is the nicest one we've been to yet. The photos definitely match the listing. We walked in to find a box of Crumbl cookies waiting for us (such a nice touch). The house has tons of space for a family, all of the cooking staples you could need (including Nespresso milk frother, full spice cabinet, OXO kitchen gadgets, snacks in the pantry), phone chargers everywhere you look, and stocked linen and bathroom cabinets. The beds AND the pillows were comfy (hard to find). The rooms celt new and clean. Our girls had a great time fishing at the pond and hanging out in the hot tub. The only negative we experienced during our stay were slow TVs (likely just due to being out in the middle of nowhere/satellite). But other than that, the house was perfect—book it!

This was easily my favorite Airbnb I have stayed in. The host is incredibly accommodating, responsive, and adds a ton of small touches that make your stay stress free and very welcoming. The space itself is beautiful and set up incredibly. I can not wait to come back again with my kids!

Everything has been thought of in this rental, and it is stocked for a wonderful, easy vacay! Paper, cleaning, hygiene, electronic charging, gaming, linens, dog supplies, food & spices, kitchen appliances, first aid…you name it, it’s in this rental! And all with fresh, cute, clean decor and beautiful window views from all angles! Beds were super comfortable, games were new and current. High quality, name brand kitchenware, clean drawers, good water pressure, and wonderful little surprises at every turn. Wonderful host, don’t hesitate! We’ll be back again, if we can get the family together! Thank you!

We had a party of 6 ladies, looking for a quiet retreat setting where we could relax, reconnect. It was exactly what we were looking for. The outdoor space was so tranquil and pretty. The first few days we didn’t leave the home, didn’t have a need to go anywhere. The home is spacious, several sitting areas, large dining area, fabulous kitchen. More amenities than most places. This property was one of the best places I’ve stayed. Very clean and well organized. Beautiful area and easy to get to Brown county or Columbus. I will definitely stay again if I’m in the area.

Wow! Beautiful and plenty of room to spread out! We typically avoid hotels so have stayed at lots of bnb type places. This was at the top of the list for how well stocked it was. They thought of everything! Forget those little tiny canisters of flour/sugar/salt etc. that you usually find -- the pantry was stocked with 4 to 5 pound containers of flour/sugar... and plethora of other things (honey/popcorn/pancake mix...). There were charging stations for devices in every room, I think. It was exceptionally clean & very comfy. It had everything for your pup (even large kennels in the basement). Lots of nice touches to make you feel at home. I was glad the downstairs was carpeted with its own entrance -- our senior dog freaks at stairs AND wood floors, lol. We arrived during a heat wave so never tried the hot tub, but the A/C was definitely appreciated - worked great. Marisa was great at communicating - very responsive to both questions and suggestions - before and during our stay

Beautiful, clean, organized home. We have stayed at many short term rentals and this home was the best one, yet. It was so clean and supplied with everything a family could need. There is surprisingly a lot to do in the area. We had a great time. Would definitely recommend this home.

Everything was top notch. A truly beautiful property with all the amenities you might need for fun, relaxing escape.

We loved Marisa’s place! Hospitality second to none. She was very responsive to our questions.

Only drawbacks were some internet latency issues for remote work and we couldn’t identify where the dedicated workspace was (we intended to use it). Just something to know if you plan to use those.

Overall, great stay for our family and Marisa is a great host who worked to solve any issues we came across. Recommend staying here!

We were in town for a Shelby Car show. This rental allowed us all to be together. The unit is immaculate. I cannot begin to say how great this place is. We’ve stayed in VRBO and other companies from coast to coast. This rental has the most forethought of any we’ve stayed. Everything near, labeled and BEYOND stocked. If I can only recommend one this is it. A joy and truly time away.

This house is absolutely gorgeous!! It is perfect for families to gather and spend time together! There is something fun for everyone to enjoy, even little ones. The location was secluded which we loved. The pond is excellent for fishing. We 100% recommend this getaway house, especially for families! The host are very nice and thoughtful! This our second time staying here and every time it gets better. We felt at home as soon as we walked in and Marisa does an amazing job at communicating and is always quick to respond. We will definitely be coming back.

This was hands down the most organized, well thought out and most generous place we have ever stayed. Every little detail and amenity was available. We stayed with a larger group for IU graduation. While it is about 45 minutes into campus this house was affordable for all of us to stay together and extremely comfortable for all.

When they say, “it’s the little things that matter,” sometimes we forget how important the big things can be. BUT big and little things at 4Paws Getaway were all phenomenal! The large yard includes a great fire pit and a basketball hoop! The kitchen has everything from a espresso to an Instapot and the pantry reminds me of my friend from childhood who always had the best snacks! The basement pool table was a blast, and we spent way too much time in the hot tub! Thank you!

We felt like one of our best friends loaned us the use of their home...wow! Incredibly welcoming feeling as soon as you enter. Both the exterior and interior of this huge home are beautifully decorated and meticulously maintained. It feels homey as soon as you arrive with lots of pillows and throw blankets all around. Then there's a personal handwritten card and gift from the owner...fully stocked pantry with encouragement to help yourself...comfy bed linens and plenty of pillows...and all the EXTRAS! All the toiletries available and so nicely arranged... lighted makeup mirror... white noise machines and charging outlets in every room... electric fireplaces in every room... laundry hampers in the bedrooms... OMG the hot cocoa bar was so sweet... butane lighters for the grill and fire pits... robes and huge towels for the hot tub... wireless speaker... lots of games... insulated wine tumblers...staked drink holder by each chair around the fire pit... Oh, and fresh eggs in the fridge! The location is very private but still close to 2 groceries so it was easy to cook inside and grill outside ... with high quality appliances, utensils and the like. We grilled/cooked, watched movies and played games, had outdoor fires each night and soaked in the hot tub which all made for a very relaxing stay!

By far one of the best places that I’ve been to so far! The house was really inviting and felt right at home. Marisa was a great host this is the second time I’ve had her as a host and both times have been great!

Stayed over for one night on 3/3/2023 at 4pawsgetaway. We were there with family to celebrate my birthday. Fantastic property. Wonderfully appointed and great decor. Game room and hot tub (outside on patio) downstairs too! It was spacious and we took advantage of the kitchen making a delicious dinner and breakfast the next morning. HIGHLY recommend and our family WILL be back. Thank you to the hosts, we loved it.

What a wonderful place to enjoy a family weekend! Convenient to Nashville, IN, Brown County parks, and Indiana University. So many thoughtful details! We LOVED the hot cocoa bar, and our IU student appreciated the Hoosier cookies and treats. The property is a relaxing retreat. We had good weather, and made use of the basketball hoop and yard space for frisbee. Loved the large windows, looking out at the morning sun on the trees while drinking coffee. Definitely hope to return.

This was hands down one of the best rentals I've ever stayed in. They had everything you need and more. The pantry was fully stocked with snacks, cooking needs and coffee and creamer. They had an air fryer, instant pot, fancy coffee machine (with the coffee) and they even left things out for a hot cocoa bar. Such a nice touch! The kitchen was beyond stocked with everything you could think of including several spices. They had several card and board games as well as an Xbox and Switch. The hot tub was also amazing. Everything about this place was above and beyond, it definitely felt like a home and not a rental. Can't wait to come back!

This place was perfect. We loved the location which was quiet and beautiful but close enough to Columbus and everything it has to offer. The place had everything you could want. It was perfect for our family get together. Highly recommended.

Beautiful house, very secluded. Snacks were a nice surprise/bonus. Hot tub was great for relaxing. Plenty of space for adults and kids. Pool table, video games, hiking, campfire, fishing, and even some basketball (we left a ball for future renters). It was a great place to kick back and relax between games and close enough of a drive from all parks to not be a nuisance.
