Spacious and comfortable, the Chalet has wonderful deck space with distant views of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park. You can even walk into Acadia, as there is an entrance just a few hundred yards from the property. It's also just a 15 minute walk into downtown Bar Harbor! Pretty woods surround the Chalet, and wildlife abounds! The property consists of the main house (Honeybee Chalet) and a guest cabin (Honeybee Hideaway) that can be rented along with the Chalet (but not separately). The main house sleeps up to 10 guests and the cabin sleeps another 4 if needed. This is a terrific property for your family or extended family! The Chalet has several "levels" for living space. The main level features the living room, sitting area (with TV), half bathroom, dining area and kitchen, as well as a wonderful outdoor deck. From the main level you go up a few steps to the master king bedroom, master bathroom and family room (this room has a double sleep futon). The lower/ground level has 3 bedrooms (2 queen bedrooms and a bedroom with 2 twin beds), and a full bathroom. Amenities include washer/dryer, dishwasher, WIFI, cable TV (one), microwave, gas fireplace, gas BBQ, cooling fans, outdoor seating and plenty of parking. Honeybee Hideaway, the guest cabin, is just under 500 sq feet and features a loft (low head room) with two twin beds. In the living room area is a queen size sleep sofa. It sleeps a total of 4. There is a small kitchenette with table seating for 4 and a bathroom with shower.
