Rockridge is a lovely, eclectic property in the village of Hall Quarry, and has distant views of the waters of Somes Sound! The property features the main house, a Tea House, and a carriage house, sleeping between 8 and 12 guests. There are lovely gardens and a gazebo for relaxing with a book in the refreshing Maine air! It's ideal for multiple or large families or several couples traveling together! Rockridge's central location on Mount Desert Island is great for all the activities our area has to offer! Several Acadia hiking trails and Echo Lake are just minutes away. Bar Harbor is about a 15 minute drive, Southwest Harbor is about an 8 minute drive. Acadia National Park's Loop Road, Cadillac Mountain entrance, is about 12 minutes away! Situated on over an acre of land, Rockridge is a private and serene oasis for your getaway to Maine! The interior throughout is both comfortable and somewhat opulent (with continental and asian decor touches). The main house features a spacious living room (has a double-sized sleep sofa), dining room, kitchen, queen bedroom, twins bedroom and bathroom with shower, all on the first floor. The master king bedroom and full bathroom (with claw foot tub and separate shower) are on the second floor. The main house also features a lovely deck overlooking the grounds! The Tea House is a cozy, warm studio/bedroom, just 50 feet from the main house, and features a queen bed, bathroom with shower and gorgeous wood burning granite fireplace! The Carriage House features an apartment over the garage space. It has a queen bed, living room area, dining area, and bathroom with shower.
